Hi, my name is Jayda and I am a first year Adventure student. Being an Adventure student is being different from  other schools, we have higher standards of education. Also,we have a broader variety of curriculum that doesn't get taught at other schools for example how to make an online video game. Adventure teaches skills that will be very beneficial towards the future such as collaboration, presenting, and time management.

 

Adventure is something that will definitely benefit me in the future and will help me be successful in life. We learn a lot of things online which is also not found in regular schools but will probably be a huge deal in the future because on the path we are going technology will overrun our future .I think Adventure is to help shape our future; our jobs, education, and decisions that we make.

 

In Adventure, we learn 5 subjects (not including P.E) they are  science, history, engineering,ELA, math, and soon arts! It. The teachers here all teach AMAZINGLY well, and try there best to make our  experiences hands on. I personally like this a lot because I understand a topic way better when i'm the one doing it. We worked on a lot of projects this year but I like working on projects rather than just doing worksheets all the time.

 

My favorite part about being an Adventure is how small the classrooms sizes are and by that I mean how many students are in the classroom. I personally like being in a smaller classroom because it gives teachers the opportunity to focus on one student at a time if you need help, which also benefits the students because they can get that extra help if necessary and the teachers sometimes have after school help sessions so that everyone knows a topic before we move on.

 

In the end I have realized that Adventure is a great program that will definitely benefit you in the future and will definitely recommend this program to anyone who is willing to seek an ADVENTURE (see what I did there). I can’t wait till next year!
